Trick AND Treat

October 27, 2011

This Saturday night is the night you have all been waiting for all year and if not, you should have been. The KCRW Halloween Masquerade Ball is upon us. Finally, you can show off that costume you have been finely crafting all year. Right? No you say? Well maybe you can grab some candy bars at the 7-11, hang them from your clothes and voilà you are a vending machine. It’s perfect for late night snacking too.

KCRW really knows how to throw a bash and even the musicians get dressed up to jam into the wee hours. Come on out to the Legendary Park Plaza Hotel downtown which is the right combination of spooky and beautiful. With plenty of bars and separate rooms for the selected DJs and bands to rock out, you will be in Halloween heaven. Along with the music you love, on the itinerary is wonderful entertainment in the forms of ghost stories and circus freaks.  To keep you fueled for endless hours of dancing there will be food trucks parked in the back, if you didn’t stop at the local convenience store for your costume.

Each year this party and the attendees have outdone themselves. Come see on view the most creative costumes Angelenos have put together.

In case Moby fails to impress you, there will also be stilt walkers,  dancers, and men crawling around in speedos – oh my! This isn’t your childhood Halloween.
